Thom Haye And Ragnar Oratmangoen Directly Enter The List Of Indonesian National Team Players Vs Vietnam

The Indonesian national team will face Vietnam in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, has announced 28 players who are in the squad to face Vietnam.

The meeting of the second round of the 2026 Asian Zone World Cup Qualification will take place on March 21, 2024 in Jakarta and in Vietnam on March 26, 2024.

At this summons, a number of naturalized players were able to return to their place in the Indonesian national team, including Thom Haye and Ragnar Oratmangoen, whose naturalization process is still ongoing.

Referring to PSSI's official announcement regarding the summons of players quoted on Thursday, March 7, 2024, names such as Muhammad Adysatryo (PSIS Semarang) were again called by the Indonesian national team.

In addition, there are subscription names, such as Witan Sulaeman (Bhayangkara FC), Rizky Ridho (Persija), Egy Maulana (Dewa United), and Yakob Sayuri (PSM).

As for players who take part abroad, such as Asnawi Mangkualam (Port FC), Pratama Arhan (Suwon FC), Sandy Walsh (KV Mechelen), Jordi Amat (Johor Darul Tazim FC), Rafael Struick (ADO Den Hague), and Elkan Baggott (Bristol Rovers) are still given confidence.

Interestingly, in this summons there is also Thom Haye who is currently defending Heerenveen and Ragnar Oratmangoen in the Fortuna Sittard uniform.

Both of them were also summoned even though the naturalization process for the two had not yet been completed.
