JAKARTA - The head coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, returned to Indonesia on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, evening WIB. He has finished his break.

Arriving in Indonesia, Shin immediately continued his work. One of them met assistant coach Nova Arianto.

After successfully bringing the Indonesian national team to record history by qualifying for the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup for the first time, Shin Tae-yong was able to have a vacation. The coach is known to choose that moment to return to South Korea and meet his family.

However, that moment did not last long. Shin Tae-yong chose to return to the country to continue his work. Through uploads on his personal social media, the coach immediately shared when his vacation period was over.

"After a break, I returned to Indonesia, then held a meeting and received a report from coach Nova," said Shin Tae-yong accompanying a photo of himself with Nova Arianto who was uploaded on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Not without reason, Shin Tae-yong immediately stepped on the gas after a vacation. The South Korean coach will prepare two age groups for the national team, namely the Indonesian and Indonesian U-23 national teams to return to a prestigious tournament.

The Indonesian national team will play a follow-up match of the 2026 Asian Zone World Cup Qualification which will also become the 2027 Asian Cup Qualification.

Shin will lead the Indonesian national team to face Vietnam in Jakarta on March 21, 2024. Then, the Garuda Squad will travel to Vietnam on March 26, 2024.

After that, the coach will also bring the U-23 Indonesian national team to undergo a training camp in Dubai from March 31 to April 8, 2024.
