JAKARTA - Arsenal are on the verge of recruiting 15-year-old wonderkid, Alexander Smith, from Rangers. The attacking midfielder caught the attention of Mikel Arteta, the Gunners coach.

Smith is a Scottish-born player and has dual citizenship. He had represented the United States U-15 before moving to Scotland U-16, which has scored one goal in five appearances.

The Gunners have been tracking Smith for some time and are ready to offer Rangers a six-digit compensation fee for that incredible talent.

Smith performed with Rangers at the East Mallorca Cup (East Mallorca Cup), Spain, in April 2023. He won four Man of the Match awards in five games, including a win over Liverpool.

Arsenal are now ready to open talks with Rangers. Mikel Arteta and Arsenal Sports Director Edu will have a busy summer and can prioritize signing young players.

Apart from Alexander Smith, Arsenal are also reportedly watching Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams ahead of the summer transfer.

Williams has scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 24 games this season.

Another young player who is considered attractive is Ajax Amsterdam's Jorrel Hato.

The 17-year-old sensational has captained Ajax and could strengthen midfield defense if he joins, as well as bedding in left-back position.

Arsenal can sell defender Jakub Kiwior to bring in Hato. Kiwior is currently in demand by Juventus.

The Polish international has struggled to find a regular place at Arsenal since joining a 21 million transfer from Spezia in January 2023.
