JAKARTA - The presence of Bruno Fernandes at Old Trafford has had a positive impact on Manchester United. Left-back Luke Shaw believes, there will be more miracles that the former Sporting CP player will show.

The Portugal international brilliantly assisted Anthony Martial in the 2-0 derby win over Manchester City on Sunday. His quick free-kick helped break the deadlock before Scott McTominay doubled his lead in injury time.

Fernandes' good appearance impressed many parties, including his Red Devils teammate Luke Shaw. Since arriving from Sporting in January, Fernandes has scored two goals and three assists in five Premier League games.

"So far he has been a brilliant player and he has come with a few assists and some important goals," said Shaw. Launch Soccerway, Tuesday, March 10.

"We will continue to improve our game and we will continue to encourage him (Fernandes) because there will be more things he will show."

United's appearance has now changed under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. They are unbeaten in 10 matches in all competitions.

The Red Devils, who have not lost in the Premier League since January, are fifth in the standings and three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the race for Champions League final place.

"We may have more experience now, because the way we fell (before) was very disappointing and it was not Man United. We have to maintain high standards," explained Shaw.

"I have no doubt that we can finish the season really strong," he concluded.
