Losing Competing With Kenan Yildiz At Juventus, Moise Kean Moves To Atletico Madrid

JAKARTA - Striker Moise Kean will soon leave Juventus and one step away from joining Atletico Madrid.

Juve has given the green light to release Kean. The 23-year-old forward chose to leave Serie A and play outside Italy.

Kean decided to leave because it was increasingly difficult to get the opportunity to play regularly during the first part of the competition.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri only gave Kean the opportunity to play 472 minutes in 12 Serie A matches. Moreover, the player from the junior team, Kenan Yildiz, has moved up to the senior team.

Yildiz, a German-born player who chose to strengthen the Turkish national team, began to get a place in the first team. This makes the competition in the front sector even tighter which leads to Kean sitting on the bench more often.

At the same time, Kean suffered an injury that forced the Italian national team player to pull over.

Kean is actually in demand by Italian clubs. The serious Monza wanted to recruit him. But Kean instead accepted Atletico's offer even though the Spanish La Liga club only borrowed him until the end of the season.

For Kean's loan for six months, Atletico spent 400 thousand euros. Atletico also did not have the option of buying Kean when the counter-loan ended.

Like Yildiz, Kean is Juve's coaching product. He was sold to Everton in 2019 But Kean then returned to Juve after two years of playing in the English Premier League.
