The Porsche Sprint Challenge Round-2 Mandalika Event Will Strengthen NTB Image

JAKARTA - The Porsche Sprint Challenge Round-2 event was held again at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province on January 13-14, 2024.

ITDC President Director Ari Respati said this event was held in the close cooperation of the Nusantara Jaya Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) as a Racing Committee or circuit manager and Superstars Motor Sport (Superstars) as racing organizers.

"Today, a briefing session has been held for the racers and racing teams who will compete on Saturday (13/1) and Sunday (14/1) 2024," he said.

He said this briefing session explained various crucial aspects, such as racing rules, rules, weather conditions, starting procedures, and critical points at the circuit. In addition, highlights from the briefing session discussed effective racing strategies and security aspects that must be maintained during the race.

"We are very enthusiastic about being part of this prestigious car racing event, and welcoming racers and automotive fans in The Mandalika area," he said.

As the manager of The Mandalika area and the owner of the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, ITDC is committed to supporting the development of automotive sports and strengthening the position of The Mandalika as a sport tourism and entertainment destination in Indonesia.

"As well as strengthening the image of NTB tourism," he said.
