Naturalized Players Act, Persecuting A Resident In Tangerang

Naturalized player Egwuatu Godstime Ouseloka abused a man in the Tangerang area (Instagram/@persipurapapua1963).

JAKARTA - A viral video shows a naturalized footballer, Egwuatu Godstime Ouseloka or Olisa, hitting residents in the Tangerang area, Banten.

The video has spread widely on TikTok social media, even uploaded on Instagram and X in the last few days.

Olisa threw two punches at a man known as Kevin Hartanto Gohzali at Taman Paris Housing, Pinangsia, Cibodas, Tangerang City.

Through uploads on his personal Instagram, Kevin explained the trigger for the beating.

"The footballer persecution incident against me as a victim (Kevin) on December 8, 2023."

"Kronologi, kejadian pagi hari sekitar pukul 07.00 WIB kami baru tiba di lokasi, posisi mobil belum saya turn it off karena saya mau setukurator mobil saya."

"Not long after, the person (Olisa) arrived and intended to wash the car, but we didn't care about it. Then I ignored my intention to set the car carburator and then I turned off the car and got into my house."

"Not long after, we heard a sound like I was hit. Then I came out and made sure it was a voice. It turned out that after I checked, it was true that my car was hit and abrasions," Kevin wrote on the @kevin.gohzali account.

Seeing this incident, Kevin then reprimanded Olisa well.

"Sir, my car was hit," he wrote.

However, Olisa's reaction was angry and went berserk. While still in the car, he wanted to pull Kevin, but failed.

Soon Olisa immediately got out of his car and approached Kevin while throwing two hard slaps.

"You look disrespectful, huh. You look disrespectful, huh," said Olisa in the video while slapping Kevin.

The footballer who had participated in the trial at Persipura Jayapura then just left Kevin and got into his car while threatening to come back again.

Due to this incident, Kevin has reported the case to the Tangerang Police. The victim suffered a earlash after going through a post-mortem.

"After the incident, we immediately made a report to the Tangerang Police with housing security assistance, proceed to the hospital for post-mortem evidence. The results stated that my left eardrum was broken and needed treatment and recovery for approximately 3 months."

"In this incident, fortunately, my girlfriend (Bianca) recorded it as a witness to the incident and we have a CCTV house that was previously threatened with being revoked (I have supporting evidence for the police). In fact, I installed CCTV in my own house for the sake of our security from previous cases," Kevin wrote.

Egwuatu Godstime Ouseloka won Indonesian citizenship (WNI) in 2018. This Nigerian player married an Indonesian citizen from Medan.

Olisa has defended several Indonesian clubs, such as Persebaya, Persipura, PSMS Medan, and PSBK Blitar. This season he did not appear in Indonesian competitions at all. Rumors circulated that the defender was conducting an assessment with Sriwijaya FC.
