JAKARTA The men's doubles specialist, Pramudya Kusumawardana, officially decided to stop his career as a badminton player at the Cipayung PBSI National Training Center.
He will not be a PBSI badminton player since Monday, December 18, 2023. The badminton player who was born on December 13, 2000, has withdrawn from the world of bulu to continue his study career in Australia.
"There are several points that I will convey regarding the reasons for the decision to resign from PBSI and Indonesian badminton," Pramudya said in a statement received.
"The first point is that my mental health is not good. This is not good for my daily life because it has an effect on my life so I need rest," he added.

Pramudya will continue his studies in the Land of Kangaroo and major in Sports Science and Sports Psychology in Sydney.
Pramudya hopes that in the future he can help Indonesian sports, especially badminton, after he gained knowledge.
"Second point, I still attach education. Some people already know I will pursue Sports Science and Sport Psychology education."
"I took studies outside because I felt the system in Indonesia was not yet supportive for professional athletes," added Pramudya.
Pramudya has been recorded as part of PBSI since 2018. He has played in the mixed doubles sector in pairs with Ribka Sugiarto.
Meanwhile, while playing in the men's doubles sector, Pramudya was noted to have paired with several names.
They are Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto, Ghifari Anandaffa Prihardika, and finally Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan.
