Bagnaia Can Win The 2023 MotoGP World During The Valencia GP Sprint Race

JAKARTA Ducati Lenovo Team's Francesco Bagnaia has a great chance of locking up the 2023 MotoGP world title during Valencia's final series sprint race this weekend.

The 2023 MotoGP season will enter the final series at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia, Spain, Sunday, November 26, 2023.

This final series will be the race to determine the race for the world title. Francesco Bagnaia only competed with Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) to be the best.

Bagnaia currently holds a 21-point advantage. However, the second fight is far from over because there are a maximum of 37 points that will be contested by both drivers.

The sprint race is Bagnaia's first match point. If he is able to outperform the Spaniard by a four-point difference in the session, the title will be his again.

However, Bagnaia's chance to ensure the title in the sprint will not be easy. The reason is, the rival is the king of sprints this season.

To be able to immediately win the title in the sprint race, Bagnaia needs to finish at the forefront (P1) and Martin must not finish better than third (P3).

If Bagnaia finishes second then Martin doesn't finish better than fifth. Then, if the defending champion finishes P3, Martin should not finish better than P7.

The next scenario, if Bagnaia finishes P4 then Martin does not finish better than P8. In addition, if Bagnaia finishes P5, Martin does not finish better than P9. Finally, if Bagnaia finishes P6 then Martin fails to score points.
