U-17 World Cup Results 2023: Had Superior, Spain U-17 Detained By U-17 Uzbekistan Series

Spain U-17 is steady at the top of Group B of the 2023 U-17 World Cup (doc. FIFA).

JAKARTA - Uzbekistan U-17 was able to hold the Spanish U-17 series on the third matchday of Group B of the 2023 U-17 World Cup. Even though they had to share points, the Matador Team was still in a safe position to secure tickets to the last 16.

Appearing at Manahan Stadium, Solo, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, Spain U-17 immediately tried to take over the game in the early minutes. The intensity of high attacks is the result of the dominant possession of the ball.

The score changed 2-1 for Spain's U-17 advantage lasted until halftime.

Entering the second half, Uzbekistan U-17 was increasingly burning with the spirit of equalizing. Jamollidin Rakhmatullaev's team immediately took over the game.

The effort bore fruit in the 53rd minute. However, the second goal of Uzbekistan U-17 was questioned by the referee.

However, after reviewing the Video Assistant Review (VAR), the referee declared the goal valid.

The draw score lasted until the long whistle sounded. One point for each team keeps Spain U-17 firmly at the top of Group B with seven points.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan U-17, which got one additional point, is still stuck in third place with four points.
