2023 Asian Games Results: Desak Made Wins Gold, Rahmat Erwin In Weightlifting And Breaks Record

JAKARTA - The medals for the Indonesian contingent have increased again at the 2023 Asian Games, Tuesday, October 3 evening WIB. Two gold medals are presented through rock climbing and weightlifting.

Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi, who took part in the final rock climbing party, won a gold medal after leaving as the fastest. Appearing in the women's speed number Dewi recorded a time of 6.364 seconds.

Apart from Dewi, other Indonesian representatives in rock climbing have also won the Bronze medal. The acquisition was secured by Rajiah Sallsabillah who also went down in the speed number.

In the bronze medal match Rajiah won the match by recording a time of 6.879 seconds. Rajiah preceded Niu Di who was previously defeated by Dewi.

Not wanting to lose to rock climbing, weightlifting also added to Indonesia's gold medal which now amounts to 6 copies.

The addition was presented by Rahmat Erwin Abdullah. Down in the 73 kg class, Rahmat managed to record a total lift of 359 kg at XSC Gymnasium, on Tuesday, October 3.

In addition to presenting gold for the Indonesian contingent, Rahmat's total force weighing 359 also managed to break the clean and jerk world record.
