Wishnutama Directive Creative Team Prepares Attractive Attractions For The Opening Of The U-17 World Cup

JAKARTA - The creative team representative under the direction of Creative Director Wishnutama prepared a performance attraction at the opening ceremony of the U-17 World Cup which was held at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT) in Surabaya City on November 10.

Head of the Surabaya City Culture, Youth and Sports and Tourism Office (Disbudporapar) Wiwiek Widayati in Surabaya, Saturday, September 30, said representatives from one of the creative teams mapped the area to regulate the implementation of the opening.

"Both from attractions, main stage, lights, artists, and so on. As well as, which places and spaces can be used for their activities," he said, as reported by Antara.

Therefore, Wiwiek ensured that overall the Surabaya City Government was ready to welcome the U-17 World Cup. The facilities and infrastructure of the Surabaya GBT Stadium are also ready to be used as a place for the U-17 World Cup match on November 10.

Moreover, he continued, the Surabaya GBT Stadium became a home base for the Indonesian U-17 national team in the preliminary round of Group A.

"Overall, the Surabaya City Government is ready to welcome the U-17 World Cup. Their arrival is to perfect the GBT," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Surabaya City Water Resources and Highways Agency (DSDABM) Lilik Arijanto said representatives of the East Java-Bali National Road Implementing Center (BBPJN) team also came to GBT to collaborate with the Surabaya City Government in making parking fields.

"From the results of the review, the parking completion must be (completed) before the FIFA requires, so we will distribute the work in two. The east side will be carried out by the city government, then the west with the assistance of BBPJN. They have stated that they can help us to complete it before the date determined by FIFA," said Lilik.

Lilik explained, in the process of working on the parking lot, the Surabaya City Government will complete the parking lot work for VVIP. Meanwhile, BBPJN East Java-Bali will complete the work on the parking lot for officials.

The total area of the parking lot to be carried out is 22,000 square meters. This means that the parking lot construction will be divided into 11,000 square meters each.

"The area being carried out by the City Government is currently being dredged (buried), coincidentally this series is completed, the parking lot work can start next week," he said.
