Knowledge Test About Indonesia, Marc Marquez Praises The Mandalika Circuit And Likes Fried Rice

JAKARTA - Repsol Honda MotoGP racer, Marc Marquez, apparently has a good memory of Indonesia. Had stepped foot several times in the country, Marquez had his favorite food and memories with the Mandalika Circuit.

This was revealed by Marquez while undergoing a pegetahuan test about Indonesia by Repsol Honda. In a short video shared on the team's official Instagram, Marquez was presented with a number of photos about Indonesia and had to provide answers.

Quoted on Tuesday, July 11, the first question that Marquez had to answer was when he was presented with a photo of himself with President Joko Widodo. Apparently the Spaniard remembered that the photo was a moment with the number one Indonesian, but Marquez did not remember when the photo was taken.

"I think this (photo) is 2021. I don't remember the year but this is the President of Indonesia," said Marc Marquez.

Furthermore, there are other photos shown to Marquez, ranging from images of fried rice to beautiful views at the Mandalika Circuit. Everything is remembered well by the rider.

For a picture of fried rice, Marquez admitted that it was his favorite food.

"This is clearly one of my favorite foods in Indonesia, fried rice. But please don't be too spicy," said Marquez with a smile.

Regarding the photo of Sirkit Mandalika, Marquez is clearly khatam. He called it easy, but while inserting a little less fun story about his appearance there.

"It's an amazing place, an amazing circuit, Mandalika. I don't have a good memory because I had a great accident but this year it will be different," he continued.

The moment of this knowledge test was made by Repsol Honda considering that they will visit the Mandalika Circuit again, precisely in the 16th series in the 2023 season. The race in Mandalika is planned to be held on October 13-15.

Marc Marquez's performance until the end of the 2023 season is still fairly bad. The 30-year-old racer slumped due to frequent accidents.

Of the eight series that have taken place, Marquez was totally involved in 14 accidents. The series of accidents also made the collection of eight world titles still stuck in 19th position with 15 points, that number is a difference of 179 points from Francesco Bagnaia who is perched at the top.
