JAKARTA - Indonesia's status as the host of the 2023 U-20 World Cup is in a polemic. This situation made Garuda Muda sticker, Hokky Caraka, furious.

He then uttered a striking sentence. Through his social media account, Hokky Caraka expressed her disappointment over the current conditions.

For Hokky, the rejection of the Israeli team that threatens Indonesia's status as the host is a tangible form of destroying the dreams of the nation's children that are in sight.

"Fighting for the independence of other countries, but all of you destroy the dreams of the children of this nation," he wrote on Instagram Story quoted on Tuesday, March 28.

Another U-20 Indonesian national team player, Achmad Maulana Syarif, also conveyed the same expression. The words are almost the same.

"Strengthening the independence of Palestine does not have to sacrifice the dreams of the nation's children," he commented on Instagram Story quoted on Tuesday, March 28.

However, not long ago, the upload was lost on the accounts of the two U-20 Indonesian national team players.

Previously, the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, rejected the arrival of Israel to his territory. This rejection is allegedly one of the reasons FIFA canceled the drawing which was supposed to be held on March 31 in Bali.

Now, there are concerns that Indonesia's status as the host of the 2023 U-20 World Cup will also be revoked by FIFA due to the rejection.
