JAKARTA - A feeling of relief was expressed by PSSI's Technical Director (Dirtek), Indra Sjafri regarding the status of the U-20 Indonesian national team ahead of the U-20 World Cup draw. Indra Sjafri is relieved that Indonesia will not be in the same group as France and Italy.

The U-20 World Cup group stage draw will take place in Bali on March 31.

Indonesia, which is the host, is included in the first pot with Uruguay, United States, France, Italy and Senegal. The Garuda Nusantara squad is also automatically in Group A.

Indonesia will be in the same group as the team that occupies the second pot, three pot, and fourth pot.

"So, France is not an opponent. What is clear is that congratulations from one time did not fight France U-20," said Indra Sjafri after the event with PSSI at the Sultan Hotel, Central Jakarta on Monday, March 20 afternoon WIB.

"What is clear is that it is outside the first pot. The U-20 Indonesian national team will meet the second pot, third pot, and fourth pot," he added.

Although he was relieved that he did not have to face France U-20, Indra Sjafri emphasized that whoever is against the Red and White team will be faced with a ready condition. Moreover, this drawing process is not a moment that can be engineered to determine the opponent.

"Drawing cannot be engineered. So, Bismillah alone. Whoever we face," said Indra Sjafri.
