Results of Race 2 WSBK Mandalika: Alvaro Bautista Came Out As The Winner

JAKARTA - Aruba.It Racing racer, Alvaro Bautista managed to emerge victorious in Race 2 of the 2023 WSBK second series at the Mandalika Circuit. Bautista managed to beat Toprak Razgatlioglu in the race on Saturday, March 5 which was marked with a red flag.

In Race 2, the race was stopped when the seventh lap took place. This is because there was an incident involving Michael van der Mark with Philipp Ottl at turn 11.

After the red flag status was revoked, Race 2 was resumed by repeating from lap 14. At this moment, Bautista's teammate at Aruba Ducati, Michael Rinaldi had led the race.

Ahead of the last two laps, Bautista managed to overtake Rinaldi. But in the previous few laps, Jonathan Rea failed to finish after the Kawasaki racer had an accident.

Coming to the finish, it looked like the Aruba Ducati would take his place, but a mistake made by Rinaldi on the last lap sent the Italian racer down to fourth place.

Rinaldi's mistake apparently benefited Toprak. He shot up to second and was 1.218 late in the race from Bautista. While the third podium belongs to Honda racer Xavi Vierge, who is 3.050 seconds adrift.
