Ahead Of The Indonesia Vs Iraq National Team In The 2023 U-20 Asian Cup: Garuda Nusantara Has Less Good Capital

JAKARTA The Indonesian U-20 national team had a record that was not so ahead of its meeting with Iraq U-20 in the first match of the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup group phase.

The match between the two teams for the Group A stage will take place at Lokomotiv Stadium, Uzbekistan, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 tomorrow. The match starts at 19.00 WIB.

Indonesia U-20 has been undergoing training camps in Jakarta since the beginning of this month. In addition to training camps, Garuda Muda also played a mini tournament against Fiji, Guatemala, and New Zealand.

Of the three matches, Shin Tae Yong's troops got unsatisfactory results. The reason is, they got one win two suffered two defeats in the tournament which took place at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

The one-one victory was won in the first match against Fiji. In this hot match, Arkhan Fikri and his friends successfully crushed the opposing team with a landslide score of four goals without reply.

Meanwhile, in the second and third matches, Indonesia had to concede three goals and only scored one goal. Indonesia conceded two goals and only returned one goal in the match against New Zealand.

Then in the third match, Indonesia had to lose a single goal against Guatemala. The only goal was scored by Jorge Solorzano through a kick from the middle of the field.

This result will certainly give Garuda Muda a tough task when facing Iraq later. On Iraqi paper, of course, it is quite superior, especially since Indonesia is not strengthened by players like Marselino Ferdinand.
