JAKARTA Persebaya Surabya officially released Indonesian national team player Marselino Ferdinand to officially play in Europe. He joined Belgian club KMSK Deinze.
Marselino's joining with Deinze was confirmed by Persebaya in an upload on Instagram social media on Wednesday, February 1 evening WIB.
"Marselino Ferdinand officially started his career in Europe. The Persebaya Wonderkid will be with the Belgian club, KMSK Deinze. Marsel is contracted for 1.5 seasons there," Persebaya wrote on Instagram.
Marselino, who has often won Shin Tae Yong's trust in the Garuda squad, has strengthened Persebaya Surabaya in Liga 1 since the 2021/2022 season.
