Tipis's Victory Over Borneo Is Enough For Persib To Fight The Prosperity Of The Temporary Liga 1 Standings

BOGOR - Persib Bandung won a narrow victory over Borneo when they met at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, Thursday, January 26. Pangeran Biru won with a score of 1-0.

Persib Bandung's only goal was scored by their flagship striker, David Da Silva. He took advantage of a pass from Ciro Alves.

This victory made Persib Bandung move up to the top of the League 1 standings with a score of 39 points from 19 matches. Meanwhile, Borneo FC is still stuck in 6th place with 33 points.

In the first half, Borneo FC actually took the initiative to attack and pressure Persib. The first is through Matheus Pato's efforts, which unfortunately can still be secured by goalkeeper Teja Paku Alam.

Persib were able to take the lead in the 7th minute after Da Silva found Borneo FC's cross from Ciro Alves so that the score turned 1-0.
