Indonesia Masters 2023: Putri KW Glad To Feel The Atmosphere Of Support For The Audience

JAKARTA - Indonesian women's singles, Putri Kusuma Wardani (KW), are happy after passing the first day of the Indonesia Masters 2023. Not only because they have escaped the qualifying round, but also being able to feel the support of the audience again

Putri KW faces the Belgian representative, Lianne Tan, to compete for a place in the main round of the Indonesia Masters 2023. Appearing confident, the Orleans Masters champion completed the two games for 39 minutes with a score of 21-12 and 21-17.

This is the first time he has felt his last appearance at the 2022 Australian Open. After that, he went through several tournaments because he was educated as a female police officer (Polwan).

"Because I really want to play here (Istora Senayan) but I'm happy because I can feel this (the audience's support atmosphere) again," said Putri KW after the match.

"When Australia (Open 2022) yesterday was still in education, so there were thoughts. But now it's a bit relieved to continue to be rich in enthusiasm again because friends continue to give support," he continued.

With Putri KW's success in qualifying from the qualifying round, this is clearly good news for Indonesia.

The host finally added a representative in the women's singles sector. Previously there was only one representative in the number, namely Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.
