Early Year Beautiful Makes Beautiful Aldila

JAKARTA - The proud achievement was achieved by Indonesian women's tennis player, Aldila Sutjiadi. The beautiful Red and White athlete won her first title in 2023.

Aldila won the WTA 250 ASB Classic tournament, Sunday, January 9. She was the best in the women's doubles sector in the tournament which took place in Auckland, New Zealand, then.

Aldila is paired with Japanese tennis player Miyu Kato. They beat the couple Leylah Fernandez (Canada) with Bethani Mattek-Sands (United States).

Aldilo/Ka, who became the third seed in this tournament, won the one hour 29 minute peak party with a final score of 1-6, 7-5, (10-4).

"In the beginning of a very beautiful year, we could immediately win in the first tournament of the season," Aldila said in a written statement, as quoted by Antara, Monday, January 9.

The title in Auckland is Aldila's second cup collection at the WTA 250 event. Previously he won the Copa Colsanitas in Bogota, Colombia, with Australian Astra Sharma in April 2022.

Aldila also won two WTA 125 titles at Colina, Chile, and Tampico, Mexico.

His achievements in Auckland will bear 280 points for Aldila. That will make him move up to the ranks of 37 world doubles, skyrocketing 10 levels from the current position.

The coffers are even thicker with an additional prize of 6,220 US dollars or around Rp. 97 million.

Next week, Aldila/Kato will take part in a level tournament in Hobart, Australia. In this tournament, Aldila/Kato again became the third seed.
