PLN Executive Vice President of Commerce and Marketing, Munief Budiman said, PLN Mobile Proliga 2023 is a tangible form of the company's commitment to support the development of athletes in Indonesia. Moreover, PLN has been appointed by the Ministry of SOEs to advance volleyball by becoming a 'Father of Gross' National Volleyball.

He also expressed his gratitude for the support of all parties in the sporting event which will start for the inaugural event at the Jalak Harupat Sports Hall, Bandung.

In the 2023 season, this competition was attended by eight men's teams and six women. Eight men's teams include Jakarta Lavani Allo Bank, Surabaya BIN Samator, Jakarta BNI 46, Jakarta Pertamina Pertamax, Palembang Bank SumselBabel, Kudus Sukun Badak, and two newcomer teams namely Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi, and Jakarta BIN.

On the other hand, the women's section consists of Bandung Bank BJB Tandamata, Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk Indonesia, Jakarta Popsivo Polwan, Jakarta Pertamina Fastron, Jakarta Electric PLN, and the Jakarta BIN newcomer team.

The final four of the first four rounds of PLN Mobile Proliga 2023 will take place at GOR Tri Dharma Gresik on 23-26 February 2023. Then continue the second round at GOR Jatidiri Semarang, 2-5 March 2023, and the third round at GOR Sritex Arena Solo on 9-12 March 2023. The series of matches will close at GOR Amonggrogo Yogyakarta for the grand final on 18 and 19 March 2023.
