Denying The Issue Of Henanky Rizky Ridho, Persebaya Manager: There Are Still Contracts Until April

JAKARTA - Persebaya Surabaya manager Yahya Alkatiri denied the issue of the departure of centre-back Rizky Ridho to one of the teams ahead of the second round of Liga 1 Indonesia 2022/2023 which is planned to take place on January 14, 2023.

"Ridho still has a contract until April next year. What is clear is that there has been talk with all the players, including Rizky Ridho," Yahya said, quoting Antara, Thursday.

For news that can be updated, he continued, regarding Rizky Ridho's contract, his party could only provide this information.

"Regarding the addition or other, just look at it later, God willing, it will be there soon and will be conveyed," he said.

According to the former manager of the Persebaya Elite Pro Academy (EPA), there will be a development of the composition of players in the next two to three days.

"Regarding the addition or borrowing of players, it can happen, first look at the dynamics in the next two or three days, we will convey it," he said.

Persebaya management, he continued, will continue to communicate with the coaching team regarding player evaluations.

"There has been an evaluation, but of course we continue to communicate with the coach how the best solution is, that's all," he said.

Previously, after the first round ended, Persebaya Surabaya coach Aji Santoso tried to make Arek-Arek Suroboyo's proud team stronger in the second round by evaluating all players from back to front.

"All sectors must improve, especially the defenders must be stronger and also a goal problem, we are also still minimal, even we are minus that goal," said Aji Santoso.

For now, he said, Persebaya Surabaya has just received a trial player from Persita Tangerang M. Iqbal and Muhammad Duta as well as from internal clubs Tony Fermansyah and Kardanu Setiawan.

When asked by reporters regarding the quality of the coach's trial player from Malang, he said he could not comment much because he had only practiced with the team once.

According to the former Indonesian national team player, he has pocketed names for the composition of Persebaya players in order to compete in the second round of Liga 1 Indonesia 2022/2023.
