Manuel Neuer Makes Bayern Munich Dizzy

JAKARTA - Bayern Munich were dizzy by the latest condition of their goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer. He is known to have suffered an accident while skiing.

Neuer spent his vacation time skiing after Germany was eliminated in the 2022 World Cup group stage. Intention to eliminate fatigue, this holiday actually brought disaster to the 36-year-old goalkeeper.

Neuer suffered a broken leg due to an accident while skiing. This situation forced him to undergo surgery and took a long time to recover.

The option to take a long break also makes Neuer have to end the season faster. This condition makes Bayern Munich have to find a replacement.

Bayern Sports Director Hasan Salihamidzic had to rack his brains to bring in the right new goalkeeper in the January transfer window. This had to be done even though Salihamidzic was not too happy to maneuver in the transfer market.

"As you know, I'm not a fan of winter transfer windows," Salihamidzic told Sport Bild on Friday, December 23.

"But a lot happened during the World Cup break, so I shouldn't rule that out," he explained.

There are several goalkeepers who appear in the World Cup. The Livakovic dominik (the Croatian national team) and Yassine Bounou (the Morocco national team) include.

Both of them did appear as candidates to replace Neuer. However, according to sources, Die Bavarian is looking for a goalkeeper who can speak German.

This is the main condition because the club feels that communication is very important for goalkeepers to set the back line.

If it is difficult to find a goalkeeper according to the criteria, there is still an option for Munich to return Alexander Nubel, who is now on loan to AS Monaco. But Munich's desire to repatriate Nubel is also still dependent on an agreement with Monaco, because the initial deal on Nubel's loan will end in June 2023.
