Re-elected As Chairman Of Perbakin, Joni Supriyanto Will More Focus On Athlete Development And The 2024 Olympic Quota Competition

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Shooting and Hunting Association (Perbakin) is again led by Joni Supriyanto. He was re-elected by acclamation at the XIX/2022 National Conference (Munas) at Senayan Shooting Field, Jakarta, Saturday, December 17.

Joni will lead the management for the period 2022-2026. He also thanked him for being trusted again as the Head of Perbakin.

This retired TNI said that he would continue the program he had previously run in Perbakin.

"We will focus on coaching athletes and competing for the 2024 Paris Olympics quota," said Joni after the election, as quoted by Antara.

"Steping together and excel is our vision to become a compass for all work programs. How can we work hand in hand to work hand to produce achievements that make Indonesia proud," he continued.

In the first period of 2018-2022, shooting under the leadership of Joni Supriyanto experienced significant developments. So far, PB Perbakin has carried out a series of programs that deserve appreciation.

For example, the revitalization of shooting schools, special programs for referees and coaches, continuous coaching of athletes and coaches, then repairing shooting facilities and infrastructure.

In addition, Perbakin also brought in trainers from abroad, providing weapons and cheap munitions. The opportunity to go abroad and appoint senior athletes as foster parents is also a program that has been carried out by Perbakin.

In addition, in coaching and training, PB Perbakin has carried out 135 athletes from 34 provinces centrally in Senayan and in South Korea to prepare for the SEA Games and Asian Games.
