Although Brazil Dispelled From The 2022 World Cup, Neymar Tanjung Tite: Thank You Professor

JAKARTA - Brazil's star, Neymar praised his coach, Tite. This was done by Neymar following the coach's resignation after the Samba Team was eliminated from the 2022 World Cup.

Neymar praised Tite in writing on his Instagram account. In an open letter shared Monday, December 12, Neymar initially told how he met the coach.

Before we met in person, we often played against each other and could I tell you (Tite)? I thought you were so annoying! Because you formed a team to look after me," Neymar said in his early writing.

"You did everything to beat me and you even badmouth me. But fate is funny, isn't it? God puts you as a coach and I as your number 10 (in the Brazilian national team)," Neymar continued.

The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player added that his participation in the Brazilian national team made him know Tite's personality even more. Where it really differed from his views at the start.

"I know you as a coach and I already know you are very good but as a person you are much better! You met me and you know who I am and that's what matters to me... I came here openly to thank you for everything, all the teachings you gave us... and a lot," continued Neymar.

"You will always be one of the best coaches I've ever had or will ever have, I will always support you. We have good times but we also have very painful moments and this last one (the 2022 World Cup failure) will hurt us for a long time," wrote Neymar.

Brazil were eliminated from the 2022 World Cup in the quarter-finals. The samba team lost on penalties 2-4 to Croatia. The defeat was soon followed by Tite's surprise decision to withdraw.

For Neymar, Tite actually deserves to bring Brazil to the 2022 World Cup. However, even though the hope of bringing home the trophy was dashed, Neymar still gave his appreciation to Tite.

"You deserve to be crowned with this trophy, we all deserve it for everything we did and for everything we gave to try to achieve our biggest dream. But God doesn't want to be like that, be patient. God gives us everything the best for us!" Neymar continued.

"Thank you professor Tite, for all the lessons and if there is an expression I will never forget, it is a "strong mentality" and we must be strong at that time! Close hug and thank you," said Puan Neymar to the coach.
