JAKARTA - Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski was named FIFA Best Winner 2020 in the award night which also bestowed the title of Best Coach to Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp.

For Lewandowski it was his first FIFA Player of the Year award, while Klopp for two years in a row was FIFA's version of the world's best tactician.

Meanwhile, the Manchester City striker who previously strengthened Olympique Lyon, Lucy Bronze, was named the 2020 FIFA Women's Player of the Year, the official FIFA website announced on Friday WIB.

The head coach of the Dutch women's national team, Sarina Wiegmann, was named FIFA Women's Coach of the Year 2020, following a similar title she won in 2017.

The award night also awarded Lewandowski's partner at Bayern the title of Best Men's Goalkeeper 2020, Manuel Neuer, while the Lyon goalkeeper and French women's national team Sarah Bouhaddi won the award.

However, Neuer is not on the list of the 2020 FIFA Best Teams because his place was taken by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Other members of the 2020 FIFA Best Team are Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Alphonso Davies (Bayern), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool), Thiago Alcantara (Bayern / Liverpool), Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) , Joshua Kimmich (Bayern), Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus), Lewandowski (Bayern) and Lionel Messi (Barcelona).

Tottenham Hotspur striker from South Korea, Son Heung-min, won the 2020 FIFA Puskas Award, aka the best goal of 2020 through his goal scored against Burnley on December 7, 2019.
