JAKARTA The 2022/2023 Liga 1 competition has officially resumed after a hiatus since October 1. Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali ensured that the government would continue to evaluate the continuation of the competition.

The competition system will continue using a bubble system in Central Java. A total of five stadiums are used as match venues.

The five stadiums used are Sultan Agung Stadium in Bantul, Maguwoharjo Stadium in Sleman, M. Soebroto Stadium in Magelang, Manahan Stadium in Solo, and the last location is Jatidiri Stadium in Semarang.

In addition, the Minister of Youth and Sports also explained the reasons for the importance of the Indonesian League 1 competition being given a revolving permit. One of them is for the benefit of the Indonesian national team which will face several important agendas this month and next year.

In total there are four matches that mark the return of Indonesia's highest caste today. The four matches in question are Bhayangkara FC vs PSS Sleman, Madura United vs PSIS Semarang, PSM Makassar vs Persikabo 1973, and Persita Tangerang vs Bali United.

Currently PSM is still at the top of the standings with a collection of 25 points or two points ahead of Borneo in second place. They moved up to the top after pocketing three points against Persikabo.
