Tyson Fury's Ambition To Face Oleksandr Usyk Was Forced To Restorate For A Time

JAKARTA - Tyson Fury has targeted Oleksandr Usyk after overthrowing Dereck Chisora, Sunday, December 4, 2022. This battle is considered unavoidable by some circles.

However, this undeniable fight is likely to be delayed. The reason is, Fury suffered an injury to his right elbow.

The British boxer even admitted that he needed surgery before facing the Ukrainian boxer. He conveyed this when asked reporters if he would face Usyk next.

"I may have to have surgery on my right elbow. I finished the left one, so I have to finish it," Fury said, as quoted by The Sun.

"It will take about six to eight weeks to recover. We'll see when we can be ready for this fight," he continued. The King ofTEN showed his toughness at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Chisora. Usyk watched the fight live.

After the fight, Fury not only challenged Usyk but also Joe Joyce.

"Usyk, you next. I've done it with the other Ukrainian boxer, [Wladimir] Klitchsko, let's start," Fury said.

"I say Joe Joyce is a brilliant fighter, he deserves a title. If Usyk doesn't want to fight, we will do it at Wembley," he concluded.
