2022 World Cup: Drama 6 Goals! Cameroon Holds The Serbian Imbang 3-3

JAKARTA Serbia and Cameroon must settle for sharing the numbers after a 3-3 draw in the second match of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Group G at the Al Janoub Stadium, Monday, November 28 evening WIB.

Eleven minutes into the game, Serbia almost immediately took the lead through Aleksandar Mitrovic. He received a fantastic pass and shot from close range, but the ball hit the left post!

Six minutes passed, Mitrovic again became a serious threat to Cameroon's goal. The Fulham striker fired a shot in the penalty box after getting the ball vomited, but his effort narrowly went wide of the left post.

Cameroon then stole a goal in the 29th minute, taking advantage of the corner kick situation. Jean-Charles Castelletto recorded his name on the scoreboard after maximizing well Nicolas N'Koulou's assist with a header.

Serbia then identified the score 1-1 through a goal net netted by Strahinja Pavlovic when the game had entered the extra minutes. Pavlovic jumped the highest near the penalty spot to keep Dusan Tadic's good pass from a free kick.

Then before the break whistle, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic successfully brought Serbia a 2-1 lead over Cameroon. He fired from the penalty box limit to maximize Andrija Zivkovic's sweet pass.

Eight minutes into the second half, Serbia immediately added their goal. This time it was Aleksandar Mitrovic's turn to record his name on the scoreboard after continuing Andrija Zivkovic's pass to give Serbia a 3-1 lead.

Cameroon then cut the score to 2-3 thanks to Vincent Aboubakar's goal, receiving Jean-Charles Castelletto's pass. This goal was disallowed by the referee because it was considered offside before the VAR interversion confirmed otherwise.

Three minutes after, Aboubakar again contributed, the ball to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's feet was successfully completed into a goal. The 3-3 position lasted until the referee blew the long whistle.

This result helped both teams temporarily collect one point each. Previously in the first match both teams lost; Cameroon was beaten by Switzerland, while Serbia was silenced by Brazil.
