Dmitry Bivol Claims Canelo Blow Harder Than Zurdo

JAKARTA - Russia's lightweight heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol said his fight against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez was more difficult than against Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez.

Bivol faced the two Mexican boxers this year. He then analyzed what next steps and future he was waiting for.

He also compared Canelo and Zurdo fighters and explained that they were two very different fighters.

Bivol admits that he spent more energy fighting Canelo because he had to focus throughout the fight.

"About power, of course Canleo is more powerful. He hit harder, but Ramirez used a combination. He threw three punches, Canelo one or two. Canelo was faster," Bivol said in an interview with the DAZN Boxing Show.

Bivol then talked about his preparations against Zurdo. Given that the opponent has left-handed horses in the ring, this Russian boxer changes his preparations by changing his partner to make it fit Zurdo

"If I was going to fight Ramirez, I would take on a higher number, left-handed one. Some combinations and moves are a little different, on the left, on the right", said Bivol.

Now, Bivol wants to fight Artur Beterbiev. Apart from having 10 title fights to defend his belt, he also won everything and is looking for new challenges.
