Proud To Be An Indonesian Citizen With A Pamer ID Card With Jordi Amat, Sandy Walsh Turns Out To Be Crying When Celebrating The Indonesia Raya Song

JAKARTA - Sandy Walsh officially holds the status of an Indonesian citizen (WNI) after undergoing an oath-taking on Thursday, November 17 at noon. He admitted that he was grateful and grateful to all those who helped him carry out the naturalization process.

He also revealed that his current status as an Indonesian citizen would make his family proud.

"This is a proud moment. Thank you to Mr. Chairman of PSSI and everyone who works behind the scenes," said Sandy Walsh, quoted from PSSI's official website, Thursday, November 17.

"I just want to say thank you to all those who are here. This is a special day for me, for my family, for my grandparents. They must be very proud of me," he added.

The Indonesian blood Sandy was indeed passed down from her mother, Brigitta Portier, who was born to an Indonesian parent. Grandpa Sandy Walsh from Surabaya and his grandmother came from Malang.

While undergoing the process of taking the oath of Indonesian citizens, Sandy Walsh also lived it solemnly and enthusiastically. The former Dutch citizen even cried while singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya.

I am very happy to be an Indonesian citizen. Celebrating the song Indonesia Raya is a very beautiful moment today, I even (tadi) closed my eyes and cried. So, thank you again," said Sandy Walsh.

Not a few hours later, Sandy Walsh proved himself to be truly an Indonesian citizen. Together with Jordy Amat, he showed off his Identity Card (KTP) as the official identity card of an Indonesian citizen.

"We are officially ready for Indonesia," said Sandy and Jordi on the PSSI Instagram account.
