Momentum 40 Hari Tragedi Kanjuruhan, Iwan Bule Pamer Achievement At The PSSI Official Site

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan claimed, PSSI has carried out various positive transformations in the world of Indonesian football during his tenure.

One of the achievements revealed by Iriawan is to improve the welfare of line judges. According to Iwan Bule, the nickname of the PSSI chairman, this step is one of the efforts to eradicate soccer gambling.

"Every referee is escorted starting when entering the match arena, until the game is over and when they leave the arena. This avoids efforts that can affect match-fixing in every match in Indonesian football competitions," said Iwan Bule on PSSI's official website, Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

According to Iwan Bule, Iriawan's nickname, PSSI is also trying to continue to encourage the growth of the potential of football players in Indonesia. The trick is through early childhood nursery.

Meanwhile, to encourage the achievements of the Indonesian national team, PSSI made naturalization efforts. Currently, there are three descendants whose naturalization process is being completed.

Iwan Bule also mentioned a number of brilliant progress and achievements from the national team since 2020, since Iwan Bule took the lead. Such as the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup title, 2020 AFF Cup runners-up, and 2021 SEA Games bronze medal.

This achievement, continued Iwan Bule, influenced the ranking of Indonesian football which increased from 171 to 155 based on the FIFA ranking on June 23, 2022.

"It can only be achieved and improved through a sustainable competition, for that we hope that the government can immediately reactivate the competition that will become a candradimuka crater for the birth of quality young Garuda players," said Iwan Bule.

Iwan Bule then reaffirmed PSSI's commitment to transforming Indonesian football. The momentum of commemorating the 40 days of the Kanjuruhan tragedy is expected to be an effort to reinforce the solidarity of all football players while at the same time returning the goal as an entertaining sport.

"The 40-day commemoration of the tragedy of Kanjuruhan will be a momentum to reinforce the solidarity of all football players as well as carry out a transformation to restore the dignity of entertaining and safe sports," said Iwan Bule.
