Conor McGregor Wants To Buy Liverpool From The Hands Of FSG

JAKARTA UFC fighter Conor McGregor has expressed his interest in buying Liverpool after hearing that the Merseyside club will be sold by the Fenway Sports Group (FSG).

The Notorious's intention was discovered after he replied to a tweet from Liverpool fans who advised him to buy his idol club.

"I would love it (buying Liverpool). I immediately asked for information about this as soon as I heard the news (Liverpool was sold). Unexpected situation, Liverpool is an extraordinary club," McGregor tweeted, reported by GiveMeSport, Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

This news is clearly very surprising because all this time McGregor has been known as a supporter of the Reds rival, namely Manchester United. On several occasions he even wore the Red Devils costume.

If you want to buy Liverpool, McGregor will definitely have to spend it deep. The reason is, the selling value of the club based in Anfield is expected to break the record for the most expensive club.

In May, Liverpool was reportedly worth 3.89 billion. However, that nominal is likely to rise after Todd Boehly bought Chelsea at 4.25 billion.
