Complete Results Of The Women's AFC U-17 And U-20 2023 Women's Asian Cup Qualification Draw

JAKARTA - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has drawn the AFC Women's Asian Cup First Cup Qualifiers U-17 and U-20 2023.

In an event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday, November 3 at noon, the results of the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup Qualification placed Indonesia in Group A with Thailand, Malaysia and the North Mariana Islands.

Of the 28 countries participating in the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers, all of them were divided into eight groups. The five groups are four teams and the three groups are filled by three teams.

The first round of qualification will begin on April 22-30, 2023 with a mechanism that eight group winners will advance to the second round of qualifying. Meanwhile, the second round of qualification will be held on September 16-24, 2023, where four teams that have won the group and runners up will advance to the finals which will be held in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the results of the 2023 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup Qualification draw on the same day placed Indonesia in Group F. In this Group, Indonesia joins Vietnam, India and Singapore.

In this biennial competition, 31 teams participated and were divided into eight groups. There are seven groups filled with four teams and one group is filled by three teams.

The first round of qualification will be held on March 4-12, 2023, in eight central venues, namely Laos, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, Jordan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Bangladesh.

Indonesia, which is in Group F, will undergo the first round of qualification in Vietnam. Later, eight teams that won the group in the first round of qualifying automatically entered the second round qualifiers which will be held on 3-11 June 2023, while the top event will be held in Uzbekistan in 2024.
