JAKARTA - A beautiful tennis player from England, Emma Raducanu, occupies the third position of female athletes who earn the most income in 2022. Most of her income comes from sponsors.

Emma Raducanu is known to get 20 million (equivalent to Rp360 billion) from the sponsors throughout 2022.

Meanwhile, from the prize results of the tournament, the 19-year-old earned 2.8 million pounds (around Rp50 billion). He got 1.8 million pounds when he won the US Open 2022.

Raducanu did have a difficult year in his first full season at the WTA Tour. Injuries interfered with his performance in several tournaments.

In contrast to his performance on the field, Raducanu's career off the field was so shining. He collaborated with several well-known companies that were willing to pay for him to promote their products.

The sponsors include luxury brands Tiffany & Co, Dior and Porsche. He also served as ambassador to British Airways, Evian, Vodafone and HSBC.

The tennis athlete who is currently ranked 76th in the world is also paid by Nike and Wilson to use their equipment on the pitch.

Naomi beat Serena Williams who earned 30.6 million in 2022.
