JAKARTA - Indonesian League 1 club coach Luis Milla said he was satisfied with the current fitness level of his team even though the competition was currently being postponed and the team was only undergoing training.

Reporting from Antara, Friday, Milla explained that apart from the condition of Persib Bandung players who remained fit, their physical condition and motivation to play were maintained.

According to him, Persib Bandung players are able to maintain fitness even though with only four days of training for a week while waiting for when the competition will resume.

The Spaniard added that his players did not look relaxed when given a three-day training holiday because they were proven to be well-maintained.

"I see the condition of the players is good. I don't know when the competition will roll back. What can be done now is four days of training and three days off. I am happy to see the current condition of the players," said Milla.

The former coach of the Indonesian national team added that he was quite happy with some positive developments shown by all the players.

According to Milla, currently the focus is on maintaining the physical resilience of the players so that their team is in a combat-ready condition when Persib Bandung has received certainty about the start of the League 1 competition.

"I think the physical condition of the players is better now. But, we know it's quite difficult when doing the start in the competition. Every team is usually like that," Milla explained.

"So far I have seen the team in better condition than before. This is certainly very good. But, we have to look at all this when the competition resumes again," he continued.
