JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) would like to thank the players, coaches and opponents after scoring the 750th goal in a fantastic career.

Ronaldo scored the historic goal with a modest finish in the 57th minute in Juve's 3-0 win over Dynamo Kiev in their Champions League Group G match on Thursday, December 3.

The goal is also CR7's 75th in all competitions for Juventus following his move from Real Madrid, in 2018.

Along with the Spanish giants, the 35-year-old forward has scored 450 goals in all competitions following his then world record move from Manchester United in 2009.

During his six years playing at Old Trafford, Ronaldo has scored 118 goals for the Red Devils.

Ronaldo, who recently surpassed the 100 goals mark for the Portugal national team and became the second male footballer to reach the goal tally at international level after Iran's Ali Daei.

Despite being sidelined for several weeks this season after testing positive for COVID-19, Ronaldo is in good shape and proven by his eight goals in four Serie A matches.

Ronaldo's goal against Dynamo was only the second in the Champions League this season.

Following his extraordinary achievement, Ronaldo took to his official Twitter account to thank not only his teammates and coach, but also his opponents.

"750 goals, 750 happy moments, 750 smiles on the faces of our supporters," he wrote as quoted by Antara, Thursday.

"Thank you to all the players and coaches who helped me achieve this incredible number, thank you to all my loyal opponents who make me work harder and harder every day."

Ronaldo will now focus his attention on getting back on his goalscoring coffers when Juventus face Torino on Sunday, before taking on long-time rival Lionel Messi with Barcelona in the Champions League next week.
