Arsenal Hit By Hurricane Injury Ahead Of The Match Against Tottenham Spurs

JAKARTA - The international break has had an unfavorable impact on Arsenal ahead of the match against Tottenham Hotspur. A number of their players returned injured after defending their respective countries.

Arsenal's list of players whose condition is not doing well has increased. So far, there are seven players who will most likely miss Tottenham's contract match.

The seven players are Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White, Emile Smith mulai, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Kieran Tierney. Of course they are pillar players who are often the mainstays of manager Mikel Arteta.

Thomas Partey's injury was considered a very crushing blow for Arsenal. This was conveyed by former Gunners player, Mikael Silvestre.

''Partey is a big part of the puzzle for Mikel Arteta. Arsenal shows that they are worried after an injury to Xhaka or Partey. A kind of body part is missing so it could be a problem this season,''' said Silvestre, quoted from Metro.

Partey is known to have suffered an injury before defending the Ghana versus Brazil national team at FIFA Matchday, last weekend. Prior to the match, Partey reported to the national team's medical team that he felt uncomfortable in his knee.

Apart from Partey, Tierney's injury is also believed to make Mikel Arteta dizzy. The reason is, the stock for left-backs is running low because Oleksandr Zinchenko is also injured.

The 25-year-old is still struggling to recover from a calf injury which ruled him out of the match against Brentford and missed defending Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Tomiyasu has also returned from international duty in a condition that is not too fit. Ben White also suffered the same fate.
