Mario Aji Looked At Thailand's Moto3 Racing Optimistic At The Buriram Circuit

JAKARTA - The 2022 Moto3 race will still take place in Asia. After the race at the Japan Motegi Circuit, the riders will compete at the Buriram Circuit in Thailand.

The Moto3 race in Thailand will take place this weekend. Indonesian racer, Mario Suryo Aji, looks at this series confidently.

He admitted that he had good experience being able to appear impressive at the Buriram Circuit. This racer from Magetan said Buriram was one of the circuits.

"My first day in Asia was in Buriram, in the 2017 Asia Talent Cup. I also raced in 2018 at the Asia Road Racing. I remember the race well because I finished on the podium," Mario Aji said in a written statement.

"I love the layout. After four years, I came back here, and it was amazing."

"This is one of my dreams to come true to ride the world championship race here. I will try to use this opportunity as much as I can," he continued.

Honda Team Asia itself believes Mario Aji and Taiyo Furusato can achieve good results in this race. Moreover, both of them are in good mental condition after achieving quite satisfactory results in the previous race.

As is known, Furusato got his first point. Meanwhile, Mario Aji almost added to his collection of points at the championship.

"We enjoyed one of the best moments for the team after the last Grand Prix in Japan. However, now we are in Thailand. We all know the Buriram circuit. They usually perform well on this track, with a long straight track and hard braking," said team manager Hiroshi Aoyama.

"After they do a good race in Japan, we want to maintain the same momentum. The only thing we don't know is the weather is going to happen. We hope this weekend has dry conditions," he concluded.
