UEFA Nations League: Davide Frattesi Hope Support Spectators In San Siro When Italy Faces Britain

JAKARTA - The Italian national team will face England in the fifth match of Group 3 UEFA Nations League, Saturday 24 September morning WIB. Davide Frattesi expects full support from fans.

Midfielder Sassuolo wants spectators to fill the San Siro stadium. Understandably, this match is a crucial meeting for both teams to at least "last".

"After all, the public's push will be fundamental because it will obviously be a tough game," Davide Frattesi told Calciomercato.

Gli Azzurri and the Three Lions are the bottom two teams in Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League. Italy is in third place with five points, while England has only earned two points and is caretaker.

At the UEFA Nations League meeting last June, England had to settle for a point at home after being held to a 0-0 draw by Italy.

Now Italy is eyeing a win at home. Frattesi said his team's preparations were going well to make that happen.

"The training went well, we will do something else considering the match against England," said the owner of three caps with the Italian national team.

Roberto Mancini's team still has a chance to run as the leader of Group 3 UEFA Nations League. But they can achieve that after getting the results from Germany's match against Hungary.

Hungary currently occupies the top position thanks to a score of seven points, while Germany overshadows the second place with a collection of six points.

If Germany vs Hungary ends in a draw, while Italy wins over England, Gli Azzurri can climb to the top of the standings.
