JAKARTA - Vietnam coach Dinh The Nam has no problem with the smell of garbage that was smelled during the Group F match of the U-20 Asian Cup qualifying round at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya.

"This garbage is not a problem," he said during a press conference after the match, Wednesday evening.

He admitted that he appreciated the decision of the Indonesian football federation, PSSI, regarding the appointment of the Surabaya GBT Stadium as the location for the qualifying match.

According to an Antara report, Thursday, a few minutes before Vietnam's match against Hong Kong, the smell of garbage had been smelled. However, only a few moments have disappeared.

In fact, during the second match between Indonesia and Timor Leste, the smell of garbage did not smell at all.

In the inaugural match against Hong Kong, his team managed to win absolutely with a score of 5-1 while ensuring their status as leaders in Group F.

"We will focus on the next match against Timor Leste, including the host of Indonesia," he said.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong coach Cheung Kin Fung acknowledged his opponent's superiority and judged Vietnam to play better than his team.

"In the future we will play better and hopefully the mentality of the players can be better, especially against the host Indonesia," he said.

Cheung Kin Fung also admits that his players still have minimal international experience and are trying to perform more optimally in the other two matches.
