JAKARTA - Marc Marquez finally returned to pave the way with a Honda RC213V. This is the first time he has ridden his motorbike since the last Italian Grand Prix, last May.
Marquez underwent a MotoGP test session at the Misano Circuit, San Marino, on Tuesday, September 6 yesterday. The results are quite satisfactory.
The rider nicknamed The Baby Alien is very happy to be back riding his motorbike.
"After 100 days of pause, wow, this bike is fast. It feels the same as when you arrive for the first test after winter, it takes a little time to adapt," Marquez said on the official Honda website.

Marquez tried out several new competitors for Honda. He said the Japanese factory team crew had worked very hard to bring the RC213V back competitive.
Some of the new components that are being tried include air-intake, aero and downwash duct in fairing.
The last component is said to be similar to that used by Ducati in recent seasons. This component is believed to function to create ground effects when the motor devoured the bend.
In addition, the component also helps the bike stabilize and gets even better grips.
"Our target is not a record time, but understanding the situation we are in," said Marquez.
