Basketball Championships 2022 Back To Jakarta, Ready To Birth Young Talenta

JAKARTA - Basketball Championships 2022 is back in the Jakarta series for the grand Ginal event after the previous six series were completed. The high school-level basketball competition is expected to give birth to young talents for the country's basketball world.

This was conveyed by Ricky Suhendar as the representative of the 2022 Basketball Championship organizer. Ricky said that this event was also deliberately held to support the younger generation of Indonesia in showing the best talent in the field of basketball.

We are always excited to encourage the younger generation to realize their talents. We hope that this competition will become a forum for the younger generation in expression which in the end will also trigger the birth of more talented young talents for the Indonesian basketball world," said Ricky Suhendar in Jakarta, Tuesday.

The 2022 Basketball Championship competition is the first event to be held in Indonesia and has the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) to compete for the Indonesian Youth and Sports Cup.

"With the holding of this event with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, high school students are expected to be motivated to take their enthusiasm to the field to fight for trophies from the Ministry of Youth and Sports," he continued.

The 2022 Basketball Championship competition has been held in six cities, namely, Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Medan and Pekanbaru. Each city gets a quota of 16 clubs for different schools.

The grand final will be held in the city of Jakarta on 10-11 September 2022 at the Bulungan Sports Center. At the grand final, each school representing the city will compete in the group stage first.

After that, there will be four schools that will compete for the Indonesia Ministry of Youth and Sports's rotating trophy and become champions.
