JAKARTA - Tennis player from England, Emma Raducanu, has a mission to defend her US Open title. However, the mission is believed to be difficult.

Emma Raducanu's road is quite steep. He got a tough draw.

The 19-year-old tennis player already has to face the scorer of history Alize Cornet in the first round of the tournament which takes place in New York, next week.

If the 11th seed passes, she will face Japan's Naomi Osaka or American Danielle Collins in the third round. In the fourth round, Raducanu may meet Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, Serena Williams, who will retire after the 2022 US Open, will start her match against Danka Kovinic of Montenegro in the first round. Second seed Anett Kontaveit is likely to be his opponent in the second half, if he manages to get past Kovinic's obstacles.

In the men's sector, No7 seed Cameron Norrie will face France's Benoit Paire first. If his pace is smooth to the quarter-finals, he is likely to face Rafael Nadal.

Andy Murray, based on the draw, took on the 24th seed from Argentina Francisco Cerundolo in the first round. Defending men's champion Daniil Medvedev, who beat Novak Djokovic in the 2021 final, will face American Stefan Kozlov.

At the 2022 US Open, Novak Djokovic certainly does not take part. He couldn't fly to New York because he didn't want to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
