Pity! Serving Fans' Photos, Lewandowski Even Lost A Luxury Watch Worth Rp. 1.04 Billion Disappeared

JAKARTA - Disaster struck Barcelona's new player, Robert Lewandowski, when he was around the club's training ground, Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper, Thursday afternoon local time.

Reporting from Marca, Friday, the luxury watch worth billions of rupiah belonging to the striker disappeared.

“Lewandowski was robbed outside Barcelona's training facility. The thief broke into his car and stole a watch worth 70,000 euros (Rp 1.04 billion)," Marca's report said.

The incident began when Lewandowski stopped and was about to say hello and take pictures with the fans outside the training hall. But, while still in the car, a fan managed to open the side door and retrieve the watch which took Lewandowski by surprise.

This incident has been reported by Lewandowski to the authorities and then investigated to catch the thief. It was rumored that the stolen item was a mobile phone, but the results of the investigation confirmed that what was missing was a watch.

Nevertheless, Lewandowski continued his training agenda that afternoon. Together with other Barca players, Lewandowski prepares for the match against Real Sociedad.

This bad incident is not the first time this has happened at Ciudad Deportiva. Previously, fans were known to have insulted Frenkie de Jong when the player was about to enter the training area.
