KSI Criticism And Its Gimmick Against 2 Boxers On The Same Night, Jake Paul: Not Worth The Ticket Price

JAKARTA - After YouTuber KSI announced that he would fight two fighters on the same night, Jake Paul quickly took to social networks to criticize.

Although Jake did not mention KSI's name directly, he confirmed that the man whose real name was Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji was showing off publicity.

KSI announced on August 27 that he will face rapper Swarmz and professional boxer Ivan Nikolov (3-16-2) on the same night in a fight held at the O2 in London.

While it may sound strange to many that a boxer, or for that matter KSI, would face two opponents on the same night, it has happened before.

In 1975, former boxing champion George Foreman fought four boxers and won them all on the same night.

"George Foreman fought four men in one night and it was a terrible show," Jake Paul said on Twitter in response to KSI's plans.

"Initially, it looked good but in the end it pissed the fans off because they realized all opponents would lose. It was basically a gimmick, not worth the ticket price.

Meanwhile, when Foreman faced the four opponents earlier, he was booed. The reason is, the four opponents are not quality boxers and it is very visible that they will be easy to beat.

KSI calls Nikolov's quality above Jake Paul's opponents

KSI was originally scheduled to fight Alex Wassabi who had to withdraw due to a concussion. Now his opponents are rappers Swarmz and Nikolov, who despite having three wins in his record 21 fights, has won more than opponents Jake Paul, KSI said.

"He's going to be the most durable boxer I've ever faced, he loves swinging and has great head movement; he can take punches. He's a professional boxer and he knows how to keep himself safe; what the hell. I know! I know You wonder what his boxing record is; he's 3-16-2, so yeah, that's three wins and 16 losses, but that's still more wins than Jake Paul combined," he said.

Meanwhile, Jake and KSI a few days ago agreed on social media that they will fight in 2023, a fight where the winner will take all the results of the fight and the loser will go home empty-handed.
