Lampard Who Challenges Kepa To 'pay For His Sins'

JAKARTA - Kepa Arrizabalaga's form of play is questionable. He was slow to react to Hector Bellerin's curling shot in the 87th minute of the Premier League on Tuesday, January 21 evening. Chlesea's victory that was in sight, was shattered instantly. Now Frank Lampard is also watching the Spanish goalkeeper.

Jorginho put Chelsea ahead in the 28th minute through the spot before Gabriel Martinelli replied with a brilliant second-half solo effort. After returning to lead through Cesar Azpilicueta in the 84th minute, Lampard's squad missed Bellerin's goal three minutes from time. In fact, the Gunners played with 10 people since the 26th minute after David Luiz was sent off by the wait.

"I know there is particular interest in Kepa at the moment," said Lampard when asked about his goalkeeper.

"This is top football. Yes, with his feet, several times he has taken the ball too long and almost gave it (to the opponent). Sometimes it can change the momentum of the match," continued the former Derby County coach.

Lampard added that because of these mistakes, Kepa is now under the supervision of the coach. But, he said, it is normal because any player, especially the goalkeeper, will always be noticed.

"That's when you stood up and showed the courage you had. He was not the only one (who was noticed)," continued Lamprad.

"We are in fourth position, which is seen as pretty good. I know and we know there should be 10 points on the board at least on performance. We all have to look at the finer details."
