JAKARTA - Tyson Fury has confirmed that he will not return to the ring this year. This he did less than a month after he said his next fight will take place on December 5 in London.

The 32-year-old British boxer has not fought since February when he won the WBC world heavyweight title belt in Las Vegas with a late seventh round win against Deontay Wilder.

"The Gypsy King is back in 2021," wrote Fury on Twitter as reported Antara, Monday, November 16.

"Only those who have supported me 100% since my return will be with me for glory."

Fury previously announced that his next fight will be in December in London against an unnamed opponent.

He did not say why the December date was canceled, nor who would be his opponent next year.

American boxer Wilder has asked Fury to agree to a third fight after the first in 2018 ended in a draw.

But Fury refused after Wilder accused him of cheating in their fight last February.
