Christian Eriksen's Insistence On Leaving To Inter

JAKARTA - Christian Eriksen has reportedly met with Tottenham Hotspur officials to reiterate his desire to move to Inter Milan this winter.

The Denmark international looks set to join Inter this week. However, several obstacles have brought the ongoing negotiations to a halt.

Eriksen is the main choice of coach Jose Mourinho for the Spurs match against Norwich City, Thursday, January 23 in the morning. However, Sky Sport Italia claims he has met with the club to try to push his way to the Nerazzurri.

The Danish midfielder is reportedly looking to make a move this winter as his contract expires at the end of the season. If it is not sold now, then the Spurs will not get a penny in July.

Inter are alleged to have offered Eriksen a total of 18 million euros and previous reports suggest an agreement between the two parties is nearing completion.

Senior Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio wrote that Tottenham were expecting 20 million euros for the player. If Inter can't get a discount on that amount, they will have to meet to agree on the asking price for the transaction to be completed.

Eriksen has made a positive gesture to Inter, now both clubs must agree if a move should materialize this winter.

On Thursday, after the match against the Canaries, Eriksen and his agent allegedly scheduled another meeting with his current employer.
